Since its inception in 1999, Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) is committed to transform legal education in Nepal.

Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) has strong commitment to be proactive in the legal education of Nepal to prepare leaders in the practice of law, public and community service.

The school has dedicated itself to provide enlightenment to the legal profession and to foster an accessible, fair, and reliable system of justice.

Legal education is a part of social science, and therefore no legal education can ignore the socio-economic and political development of society. Therefore, KSL directed its efforts to the development of the nation with functional democracy and rule of law. It took various initiatives in transformation of conflict through enhancing democratic and constitutional values.

Establishment of Peace Negotiation Resource Centre (PNRC) and launching of civic education program through radio and television are some of our visible efforts for enlarging the roles and responsibilities of the individuals and civil society in order to promote democracy, constitutionalism and rule of law.
